Title: Brandon von Guenthner Wants You To Tell a Better Story! | PRISMCAM
Guest: Brandon von Guenthner
Company: Prism Cam URL: www.prismcam.com
Brandon von Guenthner, Founder of Prismcam, is upsetting traditional alternative development marketing through epic imagery!
Brandon founded Prism Cam three years ago with a mission to ‘Share the Beauty of the Earth.’ The basis of this mission, like so many are, was founded in the solving of a practical problem. For Brandon it meant righting perceptions to share the truth that lay behind the fog, literally!
In alternative development, the beauty and uniqueness of our locations is central to the experience we are delivering and how we capture this in a translatable manner can make all the difference when brining in new clients. Today we dive into the world of wickedly epic imagery, how it is upending the marketing industry, and what you can do to stay up-to-speed.
‘The upshot is about rising above the noise through the deployment of incredibly well done and highly curated photography.’
Some of the most prolific names in hospitality make up Prism’s client roster, which suggests that what Brandon has to say might be worth taking the time to listen to. In our space the first step in creating the experience is sharing the experience, this is a good place to start.
This is a bit of a departure from our typical format as our guest, Brandon von Guenthner, is not an alternative developer himself. He instead founded and operates a company who helps developers, many in the alternative space, tell their stories in an entirely new way and in doing so is setting an amazing example for how we can do the same.
Brandon is intimately aware of how critical an effectively shared experience is when seeking new customers; he has built his company around the concept, and he is really good at it! He has learned along the way and in today’s show he lends some great advice on how to deploy more of this in our own projects and just what doing this effectively can mean to our businesses.
The upshot is about rising above the noise through the deployment of incredibly well done and highly curated photography. However, it goes far beyond this and that is what makes the difference and why Prism keeps on growing in a space that seems so crowded, this is no coincidence. Their images, which are all open source by-the-way, convert clicks at an average of 3%, this is far above the typical .001%.
